Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Rebellionaire" - On Feet

There are finally first on-feet photos that give us a first look at this Jordan 1.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Rebellionaire" shows a pretty wild upper. At first glance, this sneaker is reminiscent of the Nike Air Jordan 1 "Shadow" with its black and grey colors. However, it is noticeable rather quickly that the text "They can't stop you from wearing them" was placed over the entire sneaker. There is also a red "X" on the back of the heel.

The background to this design is the "rebellious" behavior of Michael Jordan in his early days. In fact, Jordan was fined 5000$ by the NBA for every game he wore Air Jordans. Nike used this as a marketing strategy in which the group took the fine so that Jordan would continue to wear the Air Jordans.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Rebellionaire" Release Date
